About

Glen Murray, Artistic Director of Invisible Practice, is an independent artist based in Hobart Tasmania. Glen works in contemporary performance, sound, textiles and visual art.

Glen was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2011 travelling to the UK, Europe and North America in 2012 to study international best practice in the cultural engagement of mature adults.

In his first career Glen was a member of a number of Australia’s foremost dance companies, primarily the Australian Dance Theatre, Australian Ballet and Sydney Dance Company, touring classical and contemporary repertoire nationally and internationally in a career spanning 17 years.
